Damascus (TRS) - We use 2 different types of metal to make our Damascus Shears. We fold nickel and Cobalt stainless steel together many times to make the Damascus Steel. The alternating layers of soft and hard materials result in more flexibility and strength to the steel than solid steel. We use stainless steel for the handles. We then apply a special heat treatment to the shears which makes them harder and smoother. The blades of the Damascus Shears have a wood grain pattern. These are very special shears and all have been numbered. |
